Tibetan Longevity Exercises (TLE)
The Five Tibetan Longevity Exercises are a dynamic workout geared for health energy, and personal power. They are a yogic system of simple yet highly energizing exercises that originated in the Himalayas. They were brought to the West early in this century and have been taught to thousands of people seeking a healthier lifestyle.
TLE is a free class for members of Greenbrier Valley Fitness and is offered Tuesdays at 12:00pm, Wednesdays at 5:00pm, and Thursdays at 11:30am.
Kickboxing Returns
Greenbrier Valley Fitness is proud to announce the return of Kickboxing on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm.
Our Kickboxing class uses a combination of punching and kicking maneuvers utilizing our brand new Wavemaster XXL free standing punching bags into an outstanding strength and cardio workout.
Dodgeball!!
Greenbrier Valley Fitness is proud to announce the success of our newest organized sport, Dodgeball.
Greenbrier Valley Fitness joined the National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA) in August, and began play September 4th.
“First off, I want to stress that the dodgeball we play is not the same dodgeball you played in gym class.” says Jason Morgan, Certified Personal Trainer and founder of the Greenbrier Valley Dodgeball League.
“The balls we use are the official NADA rubber coated foam balls, and we play using official rules to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.”
The idea behind dodgeball was to bring a sport to the area that everyone can play, no matter the skill level; dodgeball focuses more on teamwork and strategy.
“Not everyone can play football, basketball, or baseball, but anyone can play dodgeball.”
Jason says “We are proud to offer something new to our community to help promote fitness, and believe me, dodgeball is a workout.”
There are over 60 players right now, consisting of 7 teams, and more players are welcome.
“We need more Adult player (18+),” stated Jason, “We only have one adult team right now, and if we can get more, we can break all the teams up into divisions.”
Dodgeball is free for members of Greenbrier Valley Fitness, and a one time fee of $25.00 for non-members, if a team of 6 or more signs up to play, the fee will be reduced to $10.00 per person.

New Master's Class
GVPT&F is proud to announce a new Master's Class for our Senior membors, Fit 4 Life,
This class focuses on head to toe movements that increases strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Fit 4 Life is offered Wed. and Fri. at 10:15 starting in Sept.
The instructor is Barbara Price who teaches “Body Recall” at the First Baptist Church of Fairlea.
Barbara not only brings experience and knowledge, she also finds that teaching is personally rewarding as well. She designed this program so people can come in, feel at home, and get a good healthy workout.
We are so happy that Barbara has decided to join us.
Classes start Sept. 12th.
